A dog’s delicious little life

Yesterday dad came home and we went out back. It was the first time I had seen the yard without much white fluffy stuff – I think I heard him call it “snow.” Well, it was a little muddy – just the way I like it. They have a lot of tall plants and things back in my yard. As I was finishing my business, I sniffed something sweet. It was a big furry rabbit. Now it was almost 100_0246.jpgtwice my size – good winter, I guess! – but I thought I could get him. I chased him in and out of the mud. And through the plantings. Didn’t get him, but I surely let him know that this is my yard. I hope he comes to visit again after the “snow” goes away again. Although it’s pretty. It’s also pretty cold on my paws. Plus, I’m a bit low to the ground, so unless they shovel me a path – I’m not going to get very far.

Oh, daddy’s out there with his shovel. How’s that for gratification. Now if I can just imagine me playing with the rabbit.

Gotta go, daddy’s coming in.

Auf Wiedersehen.

Uli – you are surely a cutie! I can’t wait to meet you. Papa and I are planning a visit the first week of June. Get ready for us okay! I am sure your daddys will plan some fun stuff for us to see and do. I love visiting there so I know you must love your new home. Aren’t Jeff and Eric sweet? They will shower you with love – I just know it. Have a great Easter – your first with your new family. Maybe your other Grandma will give you some table food for an Easter treat. She knows how to handle that stuff without getting caught like me.

Oh by the way, I hope you don’t mind, but when you come to visit, we have a little bowl which was your sister’s. She was such a great little thing.

Take care and give that bunny a run for his money!

    Love Grandma & Papa
