An afternoon of tennis

It’s been a while, but my daddy has finally let me use his new laptop to continue to chronicle my little adventures. I’ve been having a grand time today with chasing rabbits, sleeping on the day bed in the porch and now back to blog. Here’s a photo, I hope you enjoy.

Well, I’ve had a very successful recovery from my snip, snip…I also have a new “office” in which I can blog from. My daddies, did the porch up and as you can see, I can blog at my leisure, with a view. I love it. Today, besides blogging I took a run in the yard. I needed to get out and run some, it’s suppose to rain the next couple of days, so run baby run.

Here’s a preview to some upcoming entries. As I’ve mentioned I’ve been a bit busy – out and about town. I’m going to share with you some of my favorite Twin Cities places to visit – once the weather is nice again.

Tonight I am blogging from the Animal Hospital. I went in this morning for a little snip-snip. Can’t have little-Uli’s running around. Don’t know if I could take care of them. I think that would mean I have to share my toys. With all of the dogs out there without homes, i thought it would be the most responsible thing to do – plus, I really can’t see sharing my toys. I love em so. And i love sitting in MY green chair. There would not be room for me and my pups.

My daddy called to check up on me – and the nurse said I was doing well. I am, but I’d rather by in my own bed. Well, at least I know I have a great home to go to. I bet, my daddies will get me a treat when I come home. I think I have them wrapped around my little paw. They’re worth it. They love me lots. It’s great, can’t wait to be at home tomorrow.

new bowls. new fashions

This past weekend the daddies went to Target and came home with a surprise for me. Some new dog bowls. i love them. They are really easy to find – as you can see they almost glow in the dark. They are designer bowls – by Isaac Mizrahi. My one daddy is mad about him. I hear him talk about Isaac all the time. I think he even has picked out some summer fashions for me. I have to say, it’s nice to be eating out of “designer” bowl.

I want to meet the designer I am named for – Uli Herzog. My daddies tell me about the episode where she made doggie fashions. I wonder if I could get a hold of a new little something for all the fun I am going to have this summer. If you know how to get a hold of her, send her my email. I’d love to meet her!

Bending it like Becks

It sure beats going to the vet. I was to get spayed this weekend, like any responsibly healthy dog. However, it seems there was a mix up at the vet and they were full. Lucky for me I have this new soccer ball from my daddies friends named Quinno. I’m really good at soccer. I love playing with this ball. Now, I wonder if I get good enough, if I could meet Posh Spice.

Today daddy and I went for a walk. My other dad has been sick, so I’ve been keeping him company in bed. He sure sleeps alot. Almost more than me. But I like having him around. It’s really nice. The other daddy is working in the basement, fixing up his studio. He’s also fixing a nice place for me to sleep down there while he is painting. I bet it’ll be soft. I wonder if I can bring a toy down there. Oh, I think that rabbit is outback – i need to go bark at him.

Meet my 2 dads

Well, I thought it would be a good time to introduce you to my 2 dads. I really love em. They have really given me a special little home. They love to play ball with me and take me on walks. I think daddy is getting the leash ready for us to go on one soon. He is…gotta go. I’ll write more soon.

Snow Ball

Today daddy got to stay home and we went outside in the fluffy “snow”. I snuck out my tennis ball and we played a bit. It was really fun. I don’t mind being outside and running in the snow because I know I have a warm house, fresh water and when daddy gets cold we both get to go in. But, today it was really fun. The backyard is really big. And fun. Daddy kept throwing the ball into the snow drifts and I played like I couldn’t find it so he’d have to come and get it. Then just about when he was to bend down I stuck my nose in the snow drift and grabbed it and ran towards the house. Daddy thought this was kind of funny. I’m a little tired though. I was able to run a lot and play fetch. Daddy’s a good ball thrower. Well, I see that my favorite chair is getting cold, so I better get back and warm it up.

romp in the mud

Yesterday dad came home and we went out back. It was the first time I had seen the yard without much white fluffy stuff – I think I heard him call it “snow.” Well, it was a little muddy – just the way I like it. They have a lot of tall plants and things back in my yard. As I was finishing my business, I sniffed something sweet. It was a big furry rabbit. Now it was almost twice my size – good winter, I guess! – but I thought I could get him. I chased him in and out of the mud. And through the plantings. Didn’t get him, but I surely let him know that this is my yard. I hope he comes to visit again after the “snow” goes away again. Although it’s pretty. It’s also pretty cold on my paws. Plus, I’m a bit low to the ground, so unless they shovel me a path – I’m not going to get very far.

Oh, daddy’s out there with his shovel. How’s that for gratification. Now if I can just imagine me playing with the rabbit.

Gotta go, daddy’s coming in.

Uli…what kind of name is that?

The daddies created a very special name for me, and I simply love it. It’s Uli, pronounced OOH-LEE. I’ve wondered where that came from. The best that I can tell, is that they really like this show called Project Runway. Last season one of the designers was named Uli Herzner.

She was German – like me.

Has a great sense of style – like me!

And has a really down to earth, fun, lively personality – like me.

Here’s a picture of me with my Carrot. I left this one at grandma’s last weekend, but understand we are going there again on Sunday. I’ll have a toy to play with there too! Chao.
